The breakfast was nothing special, definitley not excellent, but sure, it was something. Super shocking to be charged for a parking spot-I mean, isn't that expected! I almost considered writing a good review, but then I remembered how I woudl've appreciated a complimentary gesture after all this trouble.

Nice new hotel, clean rooms, safe location.
The air con didn't seem to be working, it's a new hotel but a couple things remained unfinished.

Charming small and stylish hotel close to a subway station. Soundproof, recently refurbished room provided with minibar, a balcony plus kitchenette. Very early check-in and late check-out, parking nearby. Everything very good.

The stunning views from the balcony enhanced our stay, and the attentive staff recommended a fantastic Italian-Bulgarian fusion restaurant nearby that was a culinary highlight.

New hotel - new furniture, elegant, comfortable. Nice, helpful receptionist (the 2nd one). Close to city center - walking distance. Great hotel!
The hotel has no parking space and no reserved places. So, you have to park your car on the street if you find any available place. One of the receptionists was quite hostile and offered no solution but to change the hotel if we wanted. As it was late, 9 p.m., we did not move and it was the best decision. The other receptionist was very helpful - good English and offered to help us - in the morning he paid the parking (we paid back, of course). He also helped us to call and communicate with a local service. They could improve the breakfast.

Comfortable lounge areas with friendly staff.
The air conditioning in my room was shut off. I encountered a strange drain smell that took until the next day to clear. My room also had dead batteries in the remote for the TV, quite frustrating and indicative of neglect.

We had a quite comfortable stay as the initial visit.
Enjoyed our stay and location of the hotel, and would return anytime. Everything was good here - polite staff and soundproof rooms. The continental breakfast was savoury and exceeded high expectations.

The air conditioning clearly needs an upgrade for hotter months!!! The parking accessibility is downright frustrating!!! A little attention to room furnishing wouldn't hurt either!!!

The staff were great and helpful. The owner was very hands on. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and romantic. The room is way better looking in person then in the pictures which was a great surprise. A + all around. Two blocks from shopping.

Great central location near Vitosha Boulevard made it easy for me to explore various restaurants and shops. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had a comfortable sitting area with a small kitchen, allowing me to prepare snacks. Housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining cleanliness daily. The balcony was a relaxing spot for unwinding. Breakfast offered decent variety, though I wished for more healthy vegan options. One downside was the breakfast hours. They ended early, leading to a rushed experience. Another issue was the parking situation. Street parking wasn't allowed and resorting to nearby private parking added extra costs to my stay.

The St. Georges Hotel is located in a nice residential area very close to the centre. You have everything near and can walk to the main sights. We had a balcony on the rear side and enjoyed sitting there in the evenings. We were staying two nights and were really satisfied.

location is ok, close to downtown
1. constructionary is next building to the hotel with all the noises... 2. no working restaurant in the hotel - they do not think they are obliged to inform about it clients or Booked.net. For me it was one of the main criteria for the hotel choosing. 3. I was given a twin room in spite of double-room paid and special note a double bed is a must. Had to change it. 4. The new double room had no working hair dryer, no shower-cabin door, but had a non-stop high level noise (guess some problems with AC or electricity) so I had to change it again into a next double room at the 2nd night at 2:30am!! If this is a so high level hotel at Booked.net, then I really have no wish to visit other ones in Sofia...But will not be back to this one for sure ever more.
